Palsgaard is a global producer of ingredients for food and beverages with a proud Danish heritage. Palsgaard's existing communication had an emphasis on technical texts and a slightly clinical visual expression with many images of people in a laboratory environment. Together with Mathilde at Bartholin Kommunikation we gave the brand a refresh by created messaging, a tone of voice and a visual aesthetic that moved away from the chemistry of the ingredients, towards the sensory experience of the finished product. The revitalised brand identity helped to reinforce the brand concept ‘Bringing good things together’. We created an extensive brand book that provided the basis for all future communications.
